The Chateau reception rooms are large and elegant and include a main reception room with large fireplace and high ceilings, flat screen TV and UK satellite TV, video/DVD player, Wi-Fi internet access throughout the domain and iPod/iPhone docks. There is a day room for reading and board games, a huge hallway which extends the full length of the house and a large dining room with original wood panels/dresser with views over the beautiful grounds and pool. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a walk in larder, 3 fridges with ice maker, 2 dishwashers, range cooker, bean-to-cup coffee machine and dining area. There is a single en suite bedroom on the ground floor ideal for elderly guests.
Outside there is a very large terrace which seats 30 comfortably with dining area and a relaxation area with sun beds and outdoor sofas and chairs. The terrace overlooks the swimming pool. The pool is surrounded by a terrace with plenty of sun loungers, dining area and outdoor shower. There is a pool house which has a kitchen, fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. The pool is alarmed and fenced to French legislation for safety.
The terrace looks onto formally laid out stunning gardens with a stream running through it with bridges over. There is a trampoline, swing and mature Lebanese Cedar trees and Magnolia Grandi-flora.
There is an impressive staircase leading to a large upstairs hallway to 6 bedrooms with 5 recently installed en suite bathrooms to include a 'family suite' with a master bedroom, en-suite bathroom and adjoining bedroom with 3 single beds. There is a luxury very large family bathroom with foot and claw free standing bath and large walk-in shower. All bathroom fittings are of a high standard.
There is a large cellar with 11kg washing machine, tumble dryer and drying area.
Across the quadrangle in the adjacent self-contained Pigeonnier has living room, kitchen/dining room, downstairs cloakroom and access to a large covered BBQ/table tennis area overlooking the orchard. There is a TV room/gym/games room with a pool table and table tennis attached to the Pigeonnier with a separate staircase in order that all guests have access.
Wedding facilities:
Several weddings have taken place at the chateau. The huge hallway which opens onto the chateau grand steps which lead down onto a very large terrace is an excellent stage for the wedding ceremony. It is possible to erect a marquee beside the pool for the wedding reception or for smaller weddings the reception can be held on the terrace. The owner has contacts with specialist English speaking wedding planners who can arrange every element of the wedding day - celebrants, florists, caterers and entertainment.
Corporate facilities:
For conference use there is a large room which maybe used for meetings and plenty of space for break out rooms. Single occupancy of delegates is 11. There is wi-fi, overhead projector, whiteboards etc.
